The European Chemistry and Biotechnology Journal (EUCHEMBIOJ) is an international peer-reviewed e-journal that provides a platform for researchers and industrialists interested in Chemistry and Biotechnology. Basic and applied chemistry research and applied multidisciplinary biotechnology research are the main areas of Journal’s interest.
EUCHEMBIOJ provides a platform where chemists and biotechnologists come together. We publish only original research articles, especially in the field of Chemistry and Biotechnology, which address themes such as climate change, environmental pollution, water scarcity and lack of clean water, food crisis, biomedicine and health which have become important problems in our ecosystem in recent years.
EUCHEMBIOJ is a journal that has been a Crossref member since 2023. All manuscripts are checked by iThenticate for similarity screening.
Signatory of - San Francisco Declaration of Research Assessment (DORA), Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).
Open Access - All articles in EUCHEMBIOJ are published as Open Access.
Publication frequency - two issues annually since 2024 (January and July). However, we plan to switch to a continuous publication model starting in January 2026.
Publication category - Exclusively original research articles in English. However, review/opinion/perspective articles are welcome in our sister journal, EUCHEMBIOJ Reviews.
Visibility - indexed within DOAJ, EBSCO, J-Gate, Ulrich's Web and other databases.
Acceptance - The acceptance rate has been 31% for the last two years (04.05.2025).
Submission to first decision (median) - 3 days
Expect on average 10 weeks from submission to publication.
