The European Chemistry and Biotechnology Journal (EUCHEMBIOJ) is an open-access journal founded by Tunc Catal, who collaborated with international chemistry and biotechnology researchers on the editorial board in July 2023. Tunc Catal takes all official responsibilities for the journal. The EUCHEMBIOJ is an independent, non-profit, and self-publishing academic journal, and "The European Chemistry and Biotechnology Journal (EUCHEMBIOJ)" is defined as an independent academic organization that is not affiliated with any institution that profits from the work of academics.

EUCHEMBIOJ is run voluntarily by academics with the aim of publishing scientific research free of charge in accordance with open access principles.
